For a bath, try 3 drops of Eucalyptus and 3 drops of Lavender essential oil blended into a base oil (or full-fat milk, aromatherapy books keep saying milk is a good base for a bath blend but I’ve never tried myself) whenever you are feeling tired, achy or about to get a cold. Eucalyptus is used in many massage blends for achy muscles, often blended with Lavender, Rosemary or Marjoram.

Oil of tagetes is thought to have a positive effect on skin infections and small weeping wounds. Tagetes boosts the respiratory system by dilating the bronchi and facilitating decongestion, thereby assisting in cases of cold and flu. Both the plant and oil are used for pest control and as an insect repellant, and the herb is also used to treat hemorrhoids.Strongly aromatic, this deep orange tagetes marigold oil has a heady floral bouquet with citrus-like fruit notes and bitter undertones. Often confused with calendula oil, tagetes essential oil is used therapeutically as an anti-fungal agent and for respiratory support. This wild and fresh organic oil is steam-distilled in India.

Wild orange essential oil (Citrus sinensis) is one of my absolute faaaaaavorites! It's not as frequently used, and although regular orange oil can be readily found, wild orange is said to have more and stronger properties. Its aroma is obviously citrusy, but very sweet too. I love to use it in my car (I have a little plugin diffuser - helps me be a nicer driver), diffused in a room, or even a drop in a water bottle or smoothie. It's most commonly used for digestive and immune support, as well as skin health. (You do need to be careful with topical use on the skin though, since it can make you photosensitive.) But I think of all its uses, the emotional impact it has on the mind and heart are probably the most popular.
